TAW Tech Ltd was founded in 2009 by a group of experienced engineers who identified the need for high-quality, custom-designed and manufactured bespoke machinery. We design and build production machinery and robotic systems primarily for the food and pharmaceutical sectors.
We work with some of the largest global brands across several industrial sectors, while also supporting smaller businesses throughout the UK. Our team is highly experienced in the design, programming and manufacture of production machinery and robotics, delivering reliable, precision-engineered solutions for demanding environments.
We are now looking to recruit an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our in-house manufacturing team and support ongoing machinery builds and installations.
The Role
This is a hands-on welding and fabrication role, working directly from technical drawings to produce high-quality components and assemblies. The role will involve workshop-based fabrication, with occasional site work when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Welding and fabrication of components and assemblies
- Working from detailed engineering drawings
- TIG and MIG welding across a range of materials
- Producing parts to tight tolerances and quality standards
- Preparing materials, jigs and fixtures
- Supporting the wider build team with high-quality fabricated parts
- Attending site for installation and modification work when required
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator
- Strong TIG and MIG welding capability
- Experience working with a variety of materials
- Confident interpretation of technical drawings
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently within a small, skilled team
- Willingness to carry out site work when required
